A Big Thank You to Shotgun Marine Port Macquarie: Keeping Ditto Cool!
A special shout-out goes to Shotgun Marine Port Macquarie for their incredible support of Ditto, the mascot for the Braveheart Foundation! Thanks to the generosity and expertise of Terry, Ditto can now continue his important mission of educating kids across schools while staying cool and comfortable.
Meet Ditto: A Mascot with a Mission
For those who may not be familiar, Ditto is the beloved mascot of the Braveheart Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting and supporting children. Ditto plays a pivotal role in the foundation’s educational initiatives, traveling to schools and spreading important messages about child safety. Ditto’s “Keep Safe Adventure Show” is a key part of their program, helping children learn valuable lessons about how to stay safe in today’s world.
But, as with all heroes, Ditto had a bit of a problem. While visiting schools and interacting with kids, Ditto found himself overheating due to the heavy costume he wears. This made it difficult for him to continue his important work in the field, as he couldn’t stay cool during those long, busy days of spreading safety messages.
Terry's Brainy Solution: A Fan in Ditto's Head!
Enter Terry from Shotgun Marine Port Macquarie. Known for his skills as a marine electrician, Terry took on an unexpected challenge: turning marine electrical expertise into a solution for a mascot in need. Terry generously donated his time and services to install a cooling fan inside Ditto’s head, solving the overheating issue and ensuring Ditto could continue his work without the risk of becoming uncomfortably hot.
Terry’s handiwork turned the marine electrician into an unexpected brain surgeon, carefully installing the fan in a way that didn’t disrupt Ditto’s ability to entertain and educate kids. Now, Ditto is able to carry on his mission to visit schools, meet children, and teach them how to stay safe, all while remaining cool and comfortable!
Ditto's Adventures Continue
With his new cooling system in place, Ditto is back on the road, making a big difference in the lives of young people. His Keep Safe Adventure Show continues to educate kids about important topics like bullying, online safety, and personal protection. Thanks to the generosity of Terry and Shotgun Marine, Ditto can now do all of this without the constant worry of overheating.
It’s wonderful to see Shotgun Marine Port Macquarie stepping up in such a meaningful way to support an initiative that directly impacts children’s safety and well-being. This act of kindness is a perfect example of how local businesses can make a difference in the community.
