Kurt is a second-generation marine sparkie and the face behind PMMS. Trained under Tech Terry at Shotgun Marine, Garmin Marine, Raymarine, Simrad, Furuno - he’s grown up around boats, electronics and problem-solving - and now brings that experience to every job along the Mid North Coast.

What marine electronics services do you provide in Port Macquarie?
We supply, install and fine-tune marine electronics the right way. Chartplotters, GPS, radar, sonar, autopilots, NMEA 2000 networks, battery systems – the whole lot. We don’t just bolt gear in and hope for the best. Everything gets set up properly so it works when you’re offshore and it matters.
Are you authorised dealers for the big marine electronics brands?
Sure are. We’re authorised service dealers for Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Coursemaster and Minn Kota. That means proper installs, correct setup, and your warranty stays intact. No backyard guessing.
Do you just sell the gear or do you install it too?
We’re installers first. We supply the gear, but more importantly we design the system, wire it properly, network it cleanly and dial it in on the water. We’re not just a box mover online — we make it work on your boat.
Can you build a full electronics package for my boat?
Absolutely. Whether you’re chasing marlin offshore, running a family cruiser or fitting out a commercial vessel, we’ll spec the right screens, radar, sonar, transducers and networking so it all talks to each other properly.
Do you service boats outside Port Macquarie?
Yep. We’re based in Port Macquarie but cover the Mid North Coast and travel from Newcastle up to the Gold Coast for the right jobs. If it’s a serious fit-out, we’ll make it happen.
Can you fix existing marine electronics problems?
We do plenty of fault finding. Network issues, dodgy installs, software dramas, sensors not talking — we’ll track it down and sort it properly instead of patching it up.
Do you work with NMEA 2000 networks?
All the time. Clean backbone layout, correct power supply, proper termination — if your NMEA 2000 network isn’t behaving, we’ll get it running the way it should.
